That number (1-303-218-5853) appears on my caller ID. It is a strange number, since I am in the 303 area-code and, if the caller were in this area as well, there would be no "1" prefix. Called three times in succession while I was talking on the telephone with a friend. I don't know how to use "call waiting."
This number continues to call my land line and every time i’ve answered there’s just been silence on the other end until i’ve hung up whether I say anything or not. Will hang up after 30 seconds and if you try to call the number back it says out of service. Feels very harassing.
I have had no call from this number - BUT...the number appears in an authentic-looking email claiming to be from BT. The email claimed I had to pay a bill of £62.64 and invited me to pay by BT's "automated payment service" and had several other clickable options. Obviously a scam because I already have direct debit arrangements; and the message did not include my name, phone number or account number. There is also an invitation to call 0845 600615, which is one of those spoof number where you are put on hold and get a colossal premium-rate charge.
they constantly call using a 901 area code and threating me with papers filed against me and then a robo caller comes on with a file. I am on the do not call list and I want them to stop or I will file with the fcpb.

This “organization?” calls repeatedly, but never leaves a voicemail. Sometimes they send a text with only a callback number. Legitimate businesses and even bill collectors always leave messages, and they don’t try to hide their identity.
this is a reverse number database that allows you to look up numbers and let others know your experiences with that people using that number. You can report phone fraud by letting the community and public know that this is how they tried to get a hold of you. You can find out who's been trying to reach you, even if they don't leave a message, just by looking them up. Finding out if its telemarketers, surveys, charities, or even debt collectors is as simple as looking the number up in the database and seeing if others have had contact with the person on the other end of the line. Even if you just want to check out a business by using their number, you can see what other visitors in the community have heard or dealt with in the past.
